Hi Guys,

I can give a little update, as I was fortunate enough to attend. My first ever Cub Fest, and it was a great time.

Dont have any pictures to share, but I saw a couple guys taking some, and maybe they will post later.
First off I want to thank everyone for making me feel welcome, and to Mike and his family, and any others who worked in the back ground to put this event on, and make it a success. WONDERFUL FOOD, AND FELLOWSHIP!

Bob was there working his magic on carburetors, including one of mine, that was really warped out of shape. Thank you so much!

The machine shop was building a carb jig on Friday, so there is hope for more warped carbs out there.

On Friday there was an early cub in the shop, being converted to 12 volts, and a one wire alternator. A great looking mount made by Mike, and all looked good, except that it refused to charge for a little while. That us until some one figured out the wire going to the amp gauge was bad. A new wire seemed to cure the problem.

At about the same time there was a front axle swap going on, with another early cub. They made short work of this, and the job was a success.

Outside there was some swapping going on, with a good selection of used pieces. Many useful parts changed hands, and a few much needed pieces came home with me.

Saturday was windy and we had a little rain, but other than that it was a good day. As hard as the wind was blowing, we probably should have parked the cubs facing into the wind, to keep them from being blown over.

I have probably missed a lot of details, and others will probably add to what I have started.

What a great bunch of guys, and a lot of years of experience all gathered in one place, and willing to share.
