I'm getting tired, so will probably pull over at Grayson. What time would be best for you? I can either dawdle or hustle in the morning... I would be about 3hrs away, so whatever works for you.

Dale, anytime will now work. I just ran my errands.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: The Barnyard Bash Is Still On!
I was working in the barn, late one night
When my brain flickered an eerie light
For my emotions from this thought, began to rise
And suddenly to my surprise
(We'll host the bash) We'll host the barnyard bash)
(The barnyard bash) It'll be a barnyard smash
(He did the bash) It caught on in a flash
(He did the bash) He did the barnyard bash
From my laboratory in the porta potty on the lawn to the east
To the picnic table where the cubbers all feast
The cubs all came from their humble old roads
To get a jump from my electrodes
(They did the bash) They did the barnyard bash
(The barnyard bash) It was a barnyard smash
(They did the bash) It caught on in a flash
(They did the bash) They did the barnyard bash
Happy bashing!

Just curious, did you got the low/no oil pressure solved?

Re: The Barnyard Bash Is Still On!
The good news: It's fixed!!
The bad news: We don't know what was wrong!!
We pulled the center crank bearing cap & one rod bearing cap. They looked nice & smooth, but we Plastiguaged them, and they were acceptable. So we decided to split the tractor to inspect the oil pump. It looked OK, but Ron lapped it nice & flat, reducing the clearance a scosche, reinstalled it with a new gasket & buttoned everything back up.
Oh, while apart we did replace the throwout bearing (small pieces chipped off 2 sides) & rear seal (with one of Tim's... looked like slight seepage).
When we cranked it, great oil pressure. But nothing really looked like it would have caused zero oil pressure.
Oh well... success is success!
