Going to do everything in my power to be there on the 22nd. It really disappointed me to miss the NEO CubFest last weekend. Am looking forward to NOT missing this one!

Re: 2022 Mid-Missouri Cub Fest
In all reality, the 22nd will be the day after my next chemo treatment, which zaps my energy. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to decline. Wished it wasn’t this way.
Have a great time!

Sorry, most likely a no go for me. I need a chauffeur for trips lasting longer than 20 - 30 minutes. Last year son drove me. This year son works that weekend.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: 2022 Mid-Missouri Cub Fest
I just found this notice. I'm going to see if I can come. I was there a couple years ago and bought a corn planter from a neighbor of yours in California. I'm still looking for a side-dresser to go with it. I'd like to bring my cub and see if someone can adjust the governer.

So sorry to read this. I’m sure I can say with confidence that everyone who has attended one of your MidMo CubFests truly appreciates your hospitality and generosity over the years. It was one that I truly looked forward to each year.
Thank you, Ron!

Re: 2022 Mid-Missouri Cub Fes
Ron, I understand your frustration. We always ask for a head count and half respond. It is hard to order enough for everybody. We have had days where we were out of food before everyone ate. Then the next year we would order extra and end up with so much leftover that I would be eating leftovers for months.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: 2022 Mid-Missouri Cub Fest
I had plans to go, but due to a few things, was on the fence. With gas prices as high as they are, that was one consideration. But, it would have been nice to know it was still being held whether or not I went. If I did, I had plans to bring my nephew, or to see if John or Eugene would want a ride.
It seems like tractors shows are dying in our state. There used to be a Wheel Horse meet and greet (which was their version of Cubfest), but the last one held here in Missouri was 2016. With Cubarama moving out of Fredricktown, it's a trend I have been noticing. The pandemic didn't help matters, nor does the lack of interest in the younger generations.

Re: 2022 Mid-Missouri Cub Fest
I think a big problem with the shows fading is that the people that are interested in the older tractors are getting older and their health is failing, and they are passing away. I have reached the point it completely exhausted me just getting in a small garden, or mowing the yard with a tractor or ZTR. I am starting to build my strength back, and I am hoping to make it to MIDMO next year if it is held. With Cubarama gone MIDMO is the last one within my current driving range.
