Trying to help a friend restore a McCormick-Deering horse drawn cultivator, but having trouble finding a list of the paint colors for all the items. Anyone have a list or a location you can share to find it?
Thanks,
David

Re: Horse Drawn McCormick Deering Cultivator
Are you looking for a list of paint colors/codes or are you looking for specifics on what parts should be which colors? Either answer may vary depending on which model and the approximate year you are dealing with. A picture of what you are working on may help.

Thanks for replying Jim! I am looking for both actually. I need to know what parts should be what color and what the paint colors are.

Most likely, the main colors were red and blue, possibly some cream. Wooden parts were probably ocher. Anything more specific depends on the questions in my first reply.

Jim,
I saw the tines were blue, and main beams were red, wheels were Ocher, but not sure about the connecting features.

Okay, now I know it has wheels. They were probably cream.

Yes. I found the color for those, how about the “arms” that hold the cultivator knives?
