Ford Compact 1920 & Bradco

Postby Smokeycub » Sat Apr 06, 2019 10:37 am

Hi Guys, A friend of mine has a Ford diesel compact model 1920 with a Bradco 315 FEL and a 9HD backhoe. The thing runs and works well except the hydraulics seem awfully touchy even at low idle. Another issue is you can't crowd the controls to do more than one function at a time, that's a real pain in the neck. I tried to go into greater detail before on here but got timed out and lost everything, so I keeping this short. Does anyone have any experience with this setup or simular? It's ust not user friendly this way, I'm hoping there's a fix or a work around. Thanks Ray :coffee:

Don't have any experience with the 1920.
If you're getting timed out trying to type a lengthy post, type what you want to say in a word processing document on your computer (Microsoft Word, Open Office Text Document, even notepad). Then copy and paste to the forum. Viola! You now type 1,000 words a minute!

Thanks Indy for the response. It has one canister filter which was replaced and fresh correct hydraulic oil. That said, there is supposed to be a bronze sinistered (sp) in line type filter near the disconnect for the back hoe, I'll try to replace that but I suspect it will make no difference. I'll update if there's any progress.
