PTO Yoke Bearings
On a side subject....I was brush hogging with my Corsicana 2 wheeler, hit a rock and one of the bearing caps on the gearbox end went flying away somewhere. I need to get a new set of bearings that have 1" caps and I went to TSC to look one up and I am confused. It labels them as NA series 35 and such with no specifications in the spec section. How do I decipher with is NA and what the "series" translates into? I am on the CT shore and there are not alot of tractor stores around....any suggestions as to how to size it, where to get it and are there on line sources?

Re: PTO Yoke Bearings
If we are talking about dust caps, such as on wheel bearings, you will have to micrometer measure, then online search.
Freeze plug/caps, same thing.

You will probably have to buy the complete spider, take it to Napa, they have them.

Re: PTO Yoke Bearings
Is the only thing holding them in the knurl? Are there any clips that hold the caps in?
I've never seen knurled caps is why I ask.

Re: PTO Yoke Bearings
There are snap rings for sure...but these are old enough to be bushings not bearings

Re: PTO Yoke Bearings
OK. Got you.
Measure up the cap size and the cross. If NAPA or your near by auto parts store doesn't have them, internet search. The internet may be considerably cheaper than the auto parts store.
I have found some odd sized PTO bearing parts on the internet.
