Chattanooga Twin F50 Reversible Plow
Acquired this today, got to haul my ford with the loader over and get it one day. I’ve never seen one, it’s pretty neat. I’m gonna put it in our flower bed.

I don’t feel like finding some horses to hook to it, especially with a bad back

It is very neat and I think your right. I have never seen one and already ask three older guys around who’s dads and grandads used horses to farm and they said they’ve never seen one before either. Most importantly to me, my wife likes it as much as I do!

Re: Chattanooga Twin F50 Reversible Plow
I've never seen one like it either. Oddly enough, I have seen one or two that were similar. Those (it?) had a single disk. When the tongue was rotated from one position to the other, a mechanism would rotate the disk to face the other way. Cast into it was "Chattanooga F50 Reversible" without the word "twin".

I'll bet some horse guy would pay a good bit of money for a unique implement like that. Horse folks seem to have money...

Shane, I think you could hook that up to the back of a Cub and take off....

Someone may pay good money for it but I couldn’t sell it. A dear friend of mine whom I’ve known for a long time gave it to me. He said he bought it 30 years ago for $250 and ask would I like to have it. I said sure I would love to set it in our flower bed!

Re: Chattanooga Twin F50 Reversible Plow
I strongly encourage you to put something under each wheel (and any other part resting on the ground) to keep it off the ground. It is amazing how quickly rust takes a big bite out of the bottom of an iron wheel. Concrete paving blocks work well.
Scroll about 1/4 of the way down this page for several examples that I set up with concrete pavers.
