Last haul

Postby SONNY » Wed May 27, 2020 10:13 am

went after a part for a mower and ended up with this! ----load of sunstar 20's for parts to keep my 20 running for a long time. Didn't see that coming either! --- well I guess chit happens!--right??? Anyway all 3 of them are fairly complete.

The one with the wheel weights had a dead ignition module-- got that fixed, had to remove engine to get the module changed, also intake manifold has to come off to get flywheel cover off! --- now waiting for a fuel pump. Had it running on temp hose/funnel direct to carb. sounds good for now.
Second one runs on hose/funnel to carb---fuel pump out on this one, ignition module good.
third one has bad starter --- motor not stuck. This one has that funky kohler command motor and not the good Magnum series that all my other sunstars have in them.---will probably junk this one.

Ya know, if you get them all running, you won't have a parts machine to work with.
- although you would know that the parts work!

I like Simplicity mowers. They leave the lawns with pretty stripes.

ya,----that way I know if the motors and hydros work or not! lol! Wanted to modify a snow blade to fit this one since it has the front lift rod and wheel weights on it. I have tire chains that will fit it.
Looks like at one time it had a snow thrower on it.
