Ok if it’s a 4y. I know on propane, a worn engine with a lot of blowby will make it start hard. To get us by, I would remove the hose coming from the PCV valve to the intake manifold and direct it to the floor and plug where it connects to the manifold , then it would start as normal. I do not know if it’s the same on gasoline. All you can do is try it. Again it could be the intake manifold carbines up.
