I don’t think it’ll take much to get the Ford going though I don’t know if I’ve got room inside for it.
I figure each tractor cost me about $400 apiece and because they are not running. He set the price, honest! I even told him I may end up flipping them and he said, don’t care want it all gone! Well alrighty then
If I get the Ford running, just running and driving I figure I can get my investment back in that alone. It’ll also teach me something about the N series which at the moment I know nothing about.
The G might not get done right away but it will go inside the shed if I have to kick something else out!

I posted these pics on a Ford N series site and apparently those guys are as devoted as the folks here are. Jumped all over it.
They picked at several points and nailed it down to being a 1941 9N with a 1949 8N engine. Some specific parts weren’t made after ‘42 some Like the badging on the grill And bumper were only made one year, ‘41.

I figure it’s portion of the package deal was worth about $300 - $400. The tires are good so no money out for that. Parts for these are pretty cheap so I figure $200 - $300 in and it’ll be good.

Update: went to air up the rear tires a little and I hear bubbling inside Damn
Then I lift the air hose off And a steady stream of water squirts out! Damn again.
So I figure I’ll take the core out and it breaks off.

... but somehow it’s still holding like 10lbs of pressure ???
The rim is badly rusted but I can save it.
The rear tires are in one piece and will probably stay that way if I don’t mess with it but if I try to dismount them I’d bet the sidewalls will blow out. The adventure begins.

It’s an interesting tractor. The frame is connected in the center by four bolts and four bolts secure the plow.
I’m going to remove the plow and split the tractor in the center. That will make it take less space in my tractor shed. I’ll pull the plugs and spray WD40 and marvel mystery oil in the cylinders to soak while it’s stored.

You'll notice if you get any on your fingers.

If I remember right it burns the skin around your fingernails a bit.

And stains your concrete floor!

Must be tasty too, because some companies put it in their pickles!
