Gravely Trencher
Anyone familiar with these? They are actually a aftermarket product by Crowley. Anyone here ever use one? I haven’t. Curious about effectiveness and how hard they are to use. And ballpark figure on worth if I’m buying. Thanks

Re: Gravely Trencher
I have one, found in soft ground it is ok , rocky ground hard to hang on, so the gravely I used a L8 in low I made a 3 pt hitch adapter to hook to the tractor and let the tractor hang on to it

I have it. Will post some when I hook her up and see how she does. Of course you may have been referring to Tim’s setup. I’d like to see that also

Re: Gravely Trencher
Is your trencher attachment for a tractor or walk behind?

Re: Gravely Trencher
My uncle had one on a Super Convertible (that I still have) that I used years ago. As others have said, it works OK in soft ground, but would really toss you around when hitting roctks. I remember it wouldn't dig deep enough to get below the frost line.

Re: Gravely Trencher
I have a bit of a problem with mine. It needs the bearing in the housing next to the rear sprocket. Thought I have found the right one on a gravely fb page, but it’s not right. And info on these trenchers is scarce. If anyone has some info on this, I’d sure appreciate it
