New tires for the trailer

Postby Peter Person » Thu May 20, 2021 8:26 pm

After 13 years, the tires on my dual axle trailer were looking pretty bad. No more than 4,000 miles on them but plenty of deep cracks and the rubber was hard.
Ordered 4 Trailer King tires from Simple Tire. On sale and “free” shipping. $254.44 with tax.

Aron mounted them at his workplace on a fancy SnapOn tire machine.

Me too. It sure has been longer than I would have guessed. Sure do miss seeing you and your kids (now, not kids any more) at Cecil's.

Is that the one that came out of Ohio?
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

If the planets align, I may be at Cecil’s in October.

That's a pretty good deal. Did you mount the tires yourself?

Stanton,

Aron is one of Peter's 'kids' that I referred to. Aron is now well over 6' and a fine young man.

Stanton,

No apologies necessary, we have all done it and often more than once.
