I’ll try. At one time it was Stihl’s most powerful production saw. You wouldn’t believe how hard it is to find helpful info. Even from dealers. Need to fine me a retired Stihl mechanic.

The local auction near me just sold 2 Stihl 090 saws. I think they went for around $1100.00 for the pair and they were both stuck and wouldn't turn over with the rope starter.

Ya! They get crazy prices for them, even the junk ones. A lot of the guys over on the Arboritsite have them and know all about them. Just join up and ask away!
