Hi everyone. I am excited to find this forum. I currently have 2 Farmalls...a 1955 200 and my most recent purchase is a 1946 B. I just started workng to "clean up" my B. I bought it from a guy in Iowa and brought it south so it needs some TLC. I found a little antifreeze in the oil so I removed the head off and I took to a head shop to see if it cracked and possible grind the valves. With all the experience out there, what else should I be looking for. BTW, it did run when I purchased it. Thanx in advance for your advice.

It is a wet sleeve engine. There are large o-rings near the bottom of each sleeve to separate the cooling jacket from the crankcase. Occasionally an o-ring will fail. If that is your problem, you may be able to see by refilling the coolant as high as possible. Take the oil pan off and watch for coolant running down to the bottom edge of the sleeves. Give it a while to show up, at least over-night or better several days. You don't know how long it took the "little bit" to leak through. So it may take a while to show up.
