In an earlier thread about Cub wagons, I posted this, which I'd just finished building:
It's a 6x10 "no cut" wagon deck. All the lumber was purchased from Lowe's in stock lengths, economy grade.
Well, I found another cheap running gear so I want to build a second wagon. Why? I don't know.
This new gear has a much wider track, so it will stick out from under a 6' wide bed. Now I'm debating on making it 7' or 8' wide. The problem with 7' means I am cutting and wasting lumber. The problem with 8' is that it's HUGE, and won't fit under my camper.
Then there's the length. 6x10 is nicely proportioned. 7x10 is going to start looking a little squatty, and 8x10 is going to look absolutely square. I'd like to go 12' but they don't have economy deck boards in 12' lengths, just 8' and 10'. Having to use the better quality boards means roughly doubling my lumber cost on this one, and that's what has me waffling back and forth...
What would you do? 6x10 with cheap lumber and let the wheels stick out? 7x10 and cut off the 4x4 cross members? 8x10 and not cut anything? 7x12 and double the lumber cost? 8x12 and throw caution to the wind?

I see that you ran your deck boards front to back. You may find it more efficient to run your boards side to side.
You can purchase 6',7', or 8' lengths.

Re: Building another wagon
What I would do depends on the planned use. I would probably search out a sawmill. But since you're building this cheap with easily obtainable lumber and prefer the 12 foot version, and Goldilocks seems to be picking your width (since 6' is to narrow, 8' is to wide, so 7' seems to be just right) . Is there any reason a single deck board has to go all the way front to back? I would build it 12' with 8' and 4' boards with staggered joints, Get fancy and throw in some 2' and 6' sections. Get really fancy and arrange the deck boards in a pattern.

That's what I did, horizontal instead of vertical. One reason was something suggested to me by a couple of old tyme farmers. On vertical flooring items placed on the deck will have a tendency to slide when starting or stopping. Horizontal boards are much better at reducing the chances of that happening (especially rough sawn).

Re: Building another wagon
Looks like Lowes has 12' economy deck boards! Good deal there.

I can do 7x12 and run the deck boards lengthwise, which will keep my OCD happy. They've got to look similar or it would bother me to no end.
