Springtime in the Rockies

Postby Bob McCarty » Thu Apr 02, 2020 5:41 pm

Yesterday it was 70*. This morning it was 24* with about a 10 mph wind. All of the grass blades were covered in bb size strands of frozen water droplets. I've not seen that before. It's now snowing, the ground is covered with an expected 2-4" of snow. I did leave the blade on just in case....

Yeah, it’s way too early for you to take the blade off.

So I guess you survived that snowfall you were facing when you got home from Louisiana.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

The roads were clear by the time I was driving home.

Springtime in the Rockies....the one thing Emily is really going to miss that she was looking forward to!
Good to have her home though.

In NW Ireland here in I Donegal we can often get wildly fluctuating weather at this time of the year Bob. We call them "The Borrowing Days" because the day can be borrowed from either Winter or Spring

I thought the Rockies only had two seasons. Winter and the 4th of July.

Beautiful with or without snow.
