I repair mowers for neighbors and friends from church, but prefer pre-compliance Lawnboys. I belong to a forum on Facebook that has Lawnboy info and the subject of coils came up. (I replaced 2 coils on my personal Lawnboys this year, at $50 a pop) One of my friends brought me a push mower (big bucks one, SP electric start etc) No spark, another coil. I thought.. Well the Lawnboy page said to bake coils at 200 degrees for an hour, and try it. Had I not done it myself and had success, I wouldn't have believed it.. It's worth a try.. FWIW Works on Briggs & Stratton as well as Lawnboy..
