Restored 1954 RCA 45-EY-3 45 changer

I finally finished up this 1954 RCA 45 changer. It's the later model with the 3 tube chassis. All new capacitors and tubes. New motor mounts and turntable mounts, rerubbered the actuator cam and adjusted the changer mechanism, then polished the bejeebers out of her. Plays like a champ.

Nice restoration. Question is, do you have some 45’s to play on it? Obviously you do cause you said it “plays like a champ”.

Yes, I have a small collection of 45s, about a dozen or so. My real passion is LPs. My inventory of those shows currently I have 454.

Yeah, I sold a couple hundred LP’s in several yard sales over the years. Used to love going to the record store and buying new ones. Couldn’t wait to get home and put it on the turntable and keep fingers crossed that it would not be warped. The good old days.
