Harbor Freight Jack Stand Recall

Postby Dale Finch » Tue Jul 21, 2020 8:11 am

I realize this is not new information, but I hadn't heard about it, so figured there may be others. I need to check my jack stands, because I don't remember where I purchased them.

The recall notice says "due to the aging of production tooling". This isn't much of a surprise. It boils down to poor quality control and is one of the reasons you might get a good one or might get a bad one (of about anything) from Harbor Freight.

I was checking my jack stands and when I went to check the big set they weren't there. guess I loaned them to someone who for got to bring them back. I hope they don't get too big a surprise.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
