1950 demo cub

Postby Yogie » Sun May 30, 2021 8:48 pm

Helped a coworker pick up his first cub yesterday after work. I'd looked at this cub about 12 years ago but having a few already I passed on buying it. He done well buying the tractor with several extras he doesn't need. All he wants is the 22 mower mounted so he can play around in the pasture some.
Owner said it was a 48 model but I knew better when I walked up looking it over. White paint showing thru the rust so it's a 50 demo cub.
Engine's been rebuilt and it's strong and pretty clean for a weathered cub. Trans is quiet and the steering's tight too. I told him it's better than any of the 3 I brought home years ago. We even used it and the owners trailer to gather the extras all over the farm.

It is and there's white paint showing on the inner fenders, floor board and final drives. I haven't had time to look under the hood yet.

Glad you were available to help your co-worker out. That's a nice '50 Demo Cub. With front wheel weights to boot!
