F 20 value ball park

Postby 69ranger » Fri Apr 15, 2022 3:55 pm

Hello,

Just wondering what the ball park value of an F20 would be. The tractor has been stored inside, and is on good looking tires.
It is painted and has nice decals, but other than that i can not speak for the work that has been done to it.
It appears to be all there, and not broke, anywhere. It has sat for 5 or so years and is being sold as a non runner.

What do you all think its worth, if the dust was washed off, and was made to run? I know there are a lot of variables, but just some idea.

Thank you for your consideration.

Brad

My dad sold an F-20 years ago. Runner, good paint, decals, real nice shape for $600-. Purchased by a museum.

My guess, parts tractor price, $300- to $400-. But then I wouldn't buy it. Most likely have many more dollars invested than it will ever be worth.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Thank you all. This was an on line auction, and though I bid just a little on the tractor, it sold for $1400.
I went and looked at it, and they had a crank stuck in the front of the engine, so I turned it over. Oddly there was almost no compression, just the resistance of the engine rolling over.
It was a good looking tractor, all painted and new decals. Also newish looking tires all around, and over all a nice looking tractor.

Cant say about the engine, but with out any compression or with very little, it would have been hard to get excited about.

Best regards,
Brad
