No. The Continental engine is about the same size, but otherwise doesn't have a lot in common with the Cub engine. The Cub engine block is a structural member of the tractor. Any engine conversion would have to deal with the structural aspect of the replacement. It has been done. But there is more to it than just an engine swap.

It would be way too much work if even possible to fit it in with major modifications. Sell your block and get the correct engine. JP Tractor will ship a working one on a pallet. They are a site sponsor and the link is below at the bottom of the page. Very reasonable on prices and shipping...

There are enough parts tractors and or engines around that in my opinion it is not worth the time, money, or effort to try a different engine.

There are people who have put 2 and 3-cylinder diesel engines in a cub but that was more for the challenge. They also had a the skills and resources to make it happen.

Like Jim said the engine is part of the frame. The first thing you would have to do is build a cradle to replace the structural support proved by the c-60 engine and provide a mount for the replacement engine.
When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!
