Hydro tubing on Cub loader, what kind?

Postby jostev » Sat Jul 01, 2006 9:24 am

I am just sitting here doing nothing, and I want to put steel hydro lines instead of rubber (whatever they're made of) all the way, I figure I would just use it becasue the rubber seems t get in the way a bit, so, I know that cast or steel tubing will work, and that's probably what I will be getting but would copper tubing work :?: I don't thinkt he cub has too much psi, but it's probably enough to burst copper, so it's just a question, I doubt I will use it, but i am curious...

btw, this is on a homemade cub loader, and it is really well made, dual arm.... and this would probably be for the tilt of the bucket, not the lift.

Thanks, Johnny

Johnny - you will need steel hydraulic tubing. Copper will not hold up to the pressure and vibration.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

just ask for hydraulic tubing. You should be able to get it at a farm supply or auto parts store.

Homemade dual arm loader? Wow, that sounds just like the one I used to have. 8)
