Pick a date and a location and let everyone know. It'll grow from there. You might want to attend one or two first to get a feel for it and let folks get to know you.

Kyle, scheduling is one of the big obstacles. There are an awful lot of CuFests going on , so you want to make sure you don't conflict with any of the ones that already draw a lot. Check the schedule in the announcement section to get a feel for what might be open. I know I had to think long and hard for my date and I can only hope it works. Like Bigdog said, attend a couple first to get the feel for it.
Good Luck with it!
Good Luck with it!
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Jamie
Jamie - each cubfest is different but very much alike. Most hosts provide some limited primitive camping. Many folks prefer to rough it in a nearby motel though. Generally there is some project / shop time for working on repairs etc. for someone who is looking for some help and / or guidance. Lots of social time with good friends and good food. Some have plowing and ground work etc. But all of them provide a good time.
The Buckeye Cub Tug is the third week-end in July and is (as far as we know) the only all-cub tractor pull around.
Those who can (or want to) bring a tractor or two. If you don't feel comfortable bringing a tractor, that's OK too. Someone usually shares some seat time with those tractorless folks. They don't have to be trailer queens or show tractors. We like 'em like they are!

One thing Big dog forgot to mention is that if you bring anything cept a cub to a cubfest don't unload it or we will dismantle it and give it a propper Burial
All kidding aside for those of you that have not been to a cubfest or have been to a small one really need to go to one of the larger ones
The small ones are Great too .. But when ya get a couple hundred of us togather a lot of verry important issues are discussed and problems solved... Why Heck if we hd a 2- week summit we could prob solve all the ills of the world
Other than maybe Bigdog i prob travel more than anyone Road miles and Attend the most fest as anyone here and all i can say is i have Run 14 hours one way for a one day fest and traveled the 14 hours home ...
UH Dedicated ??? Nuts ???? The jury is still out

Andrew,
Yes indeed there is a ConnectiCubFest 2008.
May 2nd thru 4th @ Zagray Farm in Colchester, CT held in conjunction with the QVEA Spring Gas-Up Event.
Art Chester & I along with a few other Connecticut Cubbers are the unofficial hosts.
