Last nite I went back out, indexed the clutch to the flywheel and removed it, and the flywheel.
What I found was a brand new pressure plate in there. The painted numbers on it were still fresh looking. I had suspected that this was the last thing ever done to this '67 about 20 years ago, if you remember a post awhile back, whoever did the job ended up taking a big "chip" out of the release bearing as it looks to me like they did not know how to adjust the clutch.
Engine will be on the stand tonite when I get a couple longer bolts to mount it.
