I have this sprayer:
OK this is the deal: I usally pull it behind my k30?? what ever ford garden tractor with 12 hp kohler, Its well lets say it works. LOL I think I may like to use my cub to pull it, It may be easier on my but and back. But the cub is 6 volt and the sprayer is 12 volt. SO I can put a 12 volt battery somewhere but I am sure I will only get half an acre or less and it will be dead so any idea's?
Also I have thought about exstending the booms to make IT A 4 SPRAY HEAD UNIT INSTEAD OF 2 HAS ANY BODY DONE ANYTHING LIKE THAT. THE THING I AM CONCERNED ABOUT IS OVER WORKING THE PUMP.
sorry for the caps JON

You could rig up an alt. on your pto to charge the 12 volt battery as the pto will be turning fast enough and use a 22 mower pulley, or convert the cub to 12 V. Or pull a generator with you.

Re: 6 volt 12 volt sprayer question.
I have the same sprayer tank and pump. I mount mine on a universal 3 point carrier and use a taller (WD Allis) tractor - 12 volts. Makes spot spraying easier.
Boom kits. 2 nozzle 80" coverage, 5 nozzle 100" coverage and 7 nozzle 140" coverage.
If you present pump isn't up to the job. Larger 12 volt pumps are available.
Without knowing exactly which pump you have. - The largest pump in this catalog draws 14 amps. The smallest one draws 5 amps. A decent fully charged 12 volt battery should easily handle a full sprayer tank.
