I think price for one thing. I bet George made his for less than $20.00.
I bought mine for about $50.00. I've seen regular drawbars priced north of $100.

Re: alt. drawbar for cub midmount blade
With your drawbar reversed for use with the blade, it still mounts in the rear holes of the final drive, and prevents using the drawbar to pull a wagon or trailer, etc. The alternate drawbar mounts to the front pads of the final drives and allows leaving the drawbar in the normal position.bjgravley wrote:why do they use a alt. drawbar for mid mounting why not use another standard drawbar?
