474 Planter attached

Postby tractordad » Thu Nov 12, 2009 4:24 pm

I finally fabricated brackets to hang the 4 row 474 planter. Seems to work ok but I may make changes later. Now to get the proper tool bar for the dual seed hoppers and finish this up.Image

Cool, but tough to see the fab work you did to get it mounted. I can kind of see what you did, but am curious about that clamp on the tool bar?? :)

WOW!

That is remarkable. Must be one of the rarest Cub implements we know of.

My hat is off to you!

It was clamp or drill flat stock and clamp through. I will probably do that but this works without punching holes I may not want later.

That is so cool! I like the color too. I am redoing my cultivators and can't wait to get all back together.

Unless I sell it,, it will not be getting dirty. Still need to hang the dual hopper bar and attach the hoppers, drive, and seed tubes. Then I start restoring a 3 row unit.......... More rust and dust!!
