Perma-Coil

Just like Heli-coil, but perhaps a bit cheaper to buy is a product called Perma-Coil. The part # for re-doing 5/8"-11 (Coarse) drawbar mounting holes on the final drive castings is 1208-110. I paid $54.00Cdn. for a kit which includes the tap, install tool, and 6 Perma-coils. The 21/32" drill bit required can be purchased at any UAP/NAPA outlet for $38.00Cdn. I am very happy with my results. I haven't looked but you can probably search the web for Perma-coil and find other sizes to suit your needs.

Rudi,
I walked into Central Garage in Hearst (International Truck Dealer and repair depot) to see if they could do the job for me. He said I would have to buy the kit. I was impressed with the price so I took it and told them I would do it myself.
It was awesome.

Will try and find it here. I got one drawbar bolt hole that needs a coil kit real bad.
