True!--F-20 and F-30 did have pipe sticking above the hood!---We had about a dozen 20 and 30 tractors back in the mid 60's that we actually farmed with! We had a regular but it had open steering gears on top the front pedestal !thanks; sonny

It is a Regular .... the first Farmall. Mike
30 + tractors including 2 French Super Cubs, French Cubs, 1963 Industrial Cub, 1955 Cub Highcrop etc...German and French built IH tractors and some bigger IH tractors. Of course I have about 20 IH trucks and an IH refridge in the Shop.
its a Regular, the F20/30 have a diffrent Carb from the Regulars, along with what other folks have said about the steering gear and exhaust is correct.
Andrew
49 Cub, and many other Farmalls and one Orange critter
This is my guess too...a neighbor has one closeby and he thinks it's a 20. But if it were me, I'd bet on the others: a Regular!
Corky
I found this old Cub, Forgotten and Forlorn, With pistons and valves frozen and worn. Help from my buddies on Farmallcub.com, And an engine from Ralph, (37’s the one), Now ole Corky is running and back to life, Much to the surprise of my dear, dear wife!
I have a lot of time on a Regular. We had one for many years and used it to pull the old real heavy baler. In the winter it was the only one that would start at 20 below zero. Another give away if you can check is that the Regular only had 3 forward gears and the 20 had 4.
