Timing mark on pulley
Hi everyone. My crankshaft pulley has 2 notches. Which one is used to determine TDC for timing purposes? Whats the other one used for? Thanks.

Re: Timing mark on pulley
The first notch to pass the pointer indicates 16 degrees before TDC. The desired advance for higher RPMs. The second notch to pass the pointer is TDC.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

The second one is TDC. The first one is 16 degrees BTDC.
