That was interesting, nice to watch. Thanks John for posting it. Does anyone know what the rod was used for that went from the bottom of the steering to under the platform in the photo before you hit the play button?

Re: video tribute to cub
Kirk, is it a cable for the hand held microphone held by the person sitting in the tractor seat ?
After reading Kirk's question again, I see that I completely misunderstood it.

That is part of the steering link for the 151 disc plow that is mounted on the back of that Cub.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: video tribute to cub
I hadn't even noticed it till you asked, but as barnyard said, that steers the rear mount disk plow. I have some pictures of mine at almost the exact same angle, but in color it is easier to see.Kirk-NJ wrote:That was interesting, nice to watch. Thanks John for posting it. Here are better pics and info on it (thanks Wisconsin Historical folks)
Its a Cub-474 vegetable planter...
From what I understand these are expensive and hard to find and are not as good or reliable as the rear mounted ones... but I don't own em so can't be sure, just what I heard.
