Cub deluxe seat

Postby JAE3 » Tue Mar 29, 2005 6:34 am

I have a 1962 Cub Low Boy with the deluxe seat. Does anyone know of a company that will recover this seat with the proper silver canvas and use the factory steel frame and springs? I do not want any of the after market seats that are foam and plywood.

Thanks JAE3

Try this guy:

SILVER SEATS
Darrell Darst
(314)356-4764

He does the pan seats, I'm not sure about the deluxe seats.

Try these:
636-356-4764 (Home} or 636-528-4877 It looks like they changed the area code.

Hey Bigdog, how much does he charge to recover a pan seat? Is it worth it to go that rout rather than buying one of the after market silver canvas seats?

As I understand it, the cost is about the same. But you end up with an original seat that is very well done. Using the same type of material that was originally used. You can call him for a quote.
