Greetings from Down Under.

Two weeks ago we were at a show in Australia, walking past a line of Farmalls when I noticed something quite a bit smaller than usual. "I have read about these I said to my mate...but I never expected to see one here". We moved on, I was looking at books and magazines, and he was no-where to be seen. When we caught up 20 minutes later he said "That owner will let you have a drive if you are interested".

The rest is history as they say. Last weekend the baby came home to sit alongside my restored 1940 Farmall A.

I am learning rapidly about Cubs in Australia. I have heard figures ranging from only 20 to 40 Cubs sold here originally although maybe double that number have been privately imported. One thing for sure... Lo Boys are very rare. The seller has a lot of experience in Farmalls generally and said he only knew of one or two other Lo Boys. This one gives the impression it has had an easy life, maybe on a golf course or a park. No history is known but if any one recognises it I would be very interested. It is a fairly recent import from USA. The Woods 59 mower looks like it has been in place for a long time. Everything is in working condition. There are remains of various colours, but the green was no quick and nasty coat as there is pin striping around the guards.
