$14.99 from Walgreen. Without magnet.
It's super bright. Purchased as light for power outages.
Will try it out to night when the sun goes down.

I've seen those advertised, they look pretty good.

Product review. Twilight.
Light is satisfactory for area illumination. Not as nearly as bright as a white gas or propane fuel lantern using a mantle. No heat, have used mantle type lanterns for small space heat source.
Not sure if the product stands up to the advertising. Plastic case/frame, so don't think the lantern would be able to withstand being in a camp fire for very long. Dropped from a height, perhaps. Seen 2 miles distance at night - ya well, so do other hand held light sources.
Seen the advertisements, been looking for the lantern for some time. Typically products advertised on TV show up at local stores at a considerable discount.
Not a bad product. Will not purchase another one. Suitable for short power outages, unless you have a large package of AA batteries and another flash light to change batteries. Ad on back of package says fresh AA batteries last UP TO 4 hours.

Power outage near midnight. The lantern is suitable for area illumination. Scale 1 to 10, the lantern is about a 3. Wife has an antique kerosene lantern, think the kerosene lantern will put out more light.
Task illumination, not good. Compared the lantern to LED flashlights. Flashlights provided much more, better illumination.
