Re: Cub in an F100 Photo
You wouldn't believe how many times I have been asked if they would fit in the bed of a truck when selling these tractors. I thought it was some kind of ongoing inside joke at first, but folks were serious.

That guy has more faith in the tailgate than I EVER did! But, in 2007 the RPRU feature was the Cub. I had just bought a 2007 Express 2500 and was debating if one would fit with the muffler removed. Lack of cash kept me from trying it. Bought mine that fall but I had my BIL trailer it about 15 miles from the auction.

Trailering a Deere model 60 caused my 150 to do a wheelie on a turn eventually.
It wasn't too enthused about much of a load of rocks either a couple times. No , I didn't weight them.

I have the farm's F350 super duty with and 8 foot bed that I was thinking about trying to see if it would work.
When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

I would be more concerned with safe/secure tie down points than "if it would work" plus other safety concerns like loading/unloading, etc. JMHO Stan

That was another reason I didn't think too long about buying one in PA and hauling it in a Van ton Ohio! I didn't even go so far as to measure the doors to see if it would go. Would be fun to try though.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

I had to take that picture and just shake my head! Couple of 500lb straps hooked to sheet metal.
We all have seen some pretty sketchy things at CubFests and other tractor shows, as well as just being on the road.

Re: Cub in an F100 Photo
As long as he shook the tractor and said, "That ain't going nowhere", it should hold.
The lower center of gravity in the van does look safer than the truck bed though.
