Cub tool drawbar has too much play in it

Postby WildFarmall » Tue May 14, 2024 10:29 pm

My tool drawbar for my 1949 cub has a lot of play in it. I bought the parts several years ago and have not been able to do the type of cultivating that would like due to the movement in the bars. It may be that some of the pivot points are worn so badly that they cannot be repaired. any suggestions on how to get some of the movement out? Any video tutorials?

How about posting a photo(s) of what you have.

If you are referring to the pivots on the 144 tool bars, I was able to tighten mine up a little by GENTLY tighten the bolts on the beam brackets (part 11 and 17 in the parts diagram). I say gently since these appear to be cast parts.
