I don't know , just asking but is the orange really that far off from already available colors or ones they can mix at a paint store to matter? Well maybe I shouldn't say matter but I should say notice. But I know it's one of those things that you would always know and it not feel right.

I bought 2, one for a friend as a gift.

I would expect it is good paint, she said it was PPG. Now I can get the code for it so it can be cross referenced at cheaper prices by the quart.

The rake I have is probably the nicest one I have ever seen with mint teeth and gauge wheels, so doing a correct repaint has value to me.

I am being pressured to sell it as it is and having true York paint on it would help. We have a Leinbach Line rake and also a Roseman Rake and prefer both over the York.

Also happy to support a New York state business with a small purchase.

Well, the correct paint is available and that was the basis of my reply :) :)

Have a good evening all!

I have been using a color of rustoleum I had in stock for an old jeep project. as with many things it is no longer regularly stocked at my local wally world. it was $3.96 @ can. I have seen this paint listed as high as $45 @ can. I think this is just crazy. I was able to find 6 cans on wally world dot com, and guess what, pickup was at my local wally. No other cans available and the price was....$3.96 a can. they had no others and it hasn't been in stock. Timing is everything I guess!

better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it...( YES this includes CUBS! )
