RARE 1964 Farmall Cub 12V non Hydraulic

Postby BSR » Wed Dec 30, 2020 5:43 pm

I resonly aquarding this early 64 Farmall Cub 12v from a family who's father was a Cub collector. He bought it from the original owner in 1985, who was a collector also. It doesn't have hydraulics and never did. It's still has paint on the spark plugs from Factory. It's rare to see a Cub this late with no hyd. There where 303 made and bound for Canada but they didn't make it there. Just thought I share it with the group.

Do you have a reference for the 303 tractors without hydraulics?
I have an excuse. CRS.

No IH hand lift either.

The hand lift mechanism for that mower looks like it came with the mower. It looks like a Woods 59, but l don't remember mine coming with it's own hand lift.
Why is there never enough time to do the job right, but always enough time to do it over. :?:

Here's another with the hand lift. I've seen that same hand lift on Farmall A & B tractors. Probably a dealer option.

My guess on the hand lift would be that it was offered, by Woods, for tractors without a factory implement lift.

I Just Notice This,The Brake Pedals have minimal wear on them! I guess the family member was rite when he said he could only recall a hand full of times his father had it out in the 35 years that he owned it.

The hole in the instrument panel for the speed control rod is still round. How do the teeth on the governor control quadrant look? I can see corks in the Touch-Control mounting holes in the bell housing.
