Hi All
What options do we have for front tyres at the moment?

You mean size or brand? I can go down to Agrisupply band buy them and untill recently could buy many brands off eBay. Several of the tire stores online had them too, but I haven't looked recently with all the nonsense that's been going on on the last month or two

Oh, well can't help you too much there. I haven't looked up tires for originality beyond original tire size. I have seen some old school type tires on eBay, but I would have to look at pictures to see exactly what they had in them originally. I'm thinking weren't they secreted outer ribs and solid center rib? I know they have some like that at Agrisupply but I think there for larger tractors like Ford 8n size maybe.

Paul, I would just check with your local tire shops and see what brands they offer. I'm sure Amazon e and Ebay would be pretty costly to ship.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: Front tires / tyres
Hi,
The original type of tread for the front tires that Cubs came with for farm work was the 3 rib tread.
They are 4" x 12".
4" x 15" tires and wheels were available.
I don't know what style of tires your Cub has on it now.
Below is a page from the 1955 Cub operator's manual, showing them. Maybe you knew already.

Re: Front tires / tyres
Firestone Tri Ribs from Miller Tire is a good choice for an original look.
I have bought several sets from them and are very pleased. Not sure if they ship overseas, but can't hurt to ask.

And as long as they came with these and not the sereted edge ones like available from miller tire in Firestone line you should be able to about get them from anywhere about as cheap as you can get a tractor tire.

There close to double that these days of coat inflation. Maybe they will come back down in a year or so if all this crazy supply problems are over by then.
