48 Cub Postive ground oooppppsss
Have a 48 Cub and installed a new battery and hooked it up like normal. Engine started ok, but the ammeter doesnt work. Noticed I didnt hook it up as postive ground, so I pulled the cables and havent messed with it since. is it ok to hook it up postive ground or did I do something bad?

Hook up positive ground. Polarize the regulator. Start tractor, check for voltage at battery.
You want to see around 7.5 volts with engine running at 3/4 throttle.
You didn't hurt anything.

I have an excuse. CRS.
