Per suggestions I ordered POR 15 Rust remover, and was wondering how long do I leave it in the gas tank and will it get on the other side of the baffle? I did remove the tank so I can slosh it around after I cover the filler hole and gas line hole with gorilla tape.
All hints welcomed. Thank you.

Look at the cutaway photo. You’ll see that the baffle is open at the bottom and sides to allow the fuel (and your rust remover) to flow. Be sure to turn the tank to all positions to get the top, sides, front and back treated.

Re: POR Rust Remover
After you cover all of the inside of the tank, drain out the excess.
The big thing is to make sure the POR has fully cured before you put fuel in the tank. Set the tank in the sun for several days or shop vac on exhaust and blow air into the tank for several hours. I said exhaust.

I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: POR Rust Remover
Now that I have let the POR 15 rust remover to work in the tank do I need to rinse it with diesel or something else before I put gas in it and start the engine?
Thanks.
Thanks.
