Hey Larry...THANKS MUCHO for the nice, ALMOST HARDLY-SOLICITED TESTAMONIAL on KROIL
I'm sure that I'm missin' something BUT, that there "Kroil Kontainer" of yourins' sure don't have any resemblance to mine OH HECK...It don't matter as long as it's workin' fer you...I probably SPILL more outta my "Official Kroil Gallon Can" than you do

Thanks for all the kind words! I sure couldn't have done it without the encouragement and excellent assistance of you folks.... actually I probably would have stopped at one Cub if I had to do it 'alone'.
Country.... that is the disguise container that I was going to use for Rudi's half of the gallon I bought (red like a Cub) but I decided that it was probably a better idea to leave it in the original container when crossing the border. I needed to put it in something and those are pretty common around my house. So the gallon can is in good hands! I use the quart with an acid brush for economy. And just so you know, it takes about 1 1/4 quarts per Cub.
The 'silver' paint is hi temp header paint. Need to bake it a couple of times, but it sure looks better than the original rusty mess.

Yep Art.... it is going on the road to Cecil's. I just need to fetch the trailer from up north (guess they will get help unloading the hay that's on it!??) I will probably be up north for your parade. May go to the Fryburg Fair... or just mow with Rufus, or do both and go fishing. It is a nice time of year.
Going to take some time to get the lights in order, but they passed the bench test, so it really is a matter of paint and some minor wiring and figuring out the old wiper trick for the seals. Rudi talked me into keeping the cool light, which was a tough call... $150 for a light isn't easy to pass up!
