What size voltmeter will fit my cub? A 2in or 2 1/16in. thanks

I believe it is 2". When i drilled the new hole for gauges on "bette" i used 2 1/16th and that was just a hair too big, and had to use door trim to stop it from falling through. Wishing i would used a 2" hole cutter.

Junior, you did say voltmeter. A voltmeter on a vehicle measures the voltage between the negative and the positive poles. It uses a very small current to do so. This current will eventually discharge the battery on a vehicle while it is not running. Thus the voltmeter must be disconnected while the vehicle is not running. Assuming that you have distributor ignition, the best point to get the power for the voltmeter is the same terminal on the ignition switch that feeds the ignition coil. The other terminal on the voltmeter would be grounded. The voltmeter would be powered only while the ignition switch is on.
