I was going to cut a piece form the old inner tube and use that but I got in a hury and just bolted it on. That was Colin that you helped out.

I have two coats on the 'back' side of the weights with a brush and they look great. Since the paint says 48 hours between coats, this is a long term deal!

Yep Billy I always had trouble with names.... but like I said Colin thought nothing of it, and makes me wonder how he got em on when he got there :?: :?: :?:

I just moved a set of weights from my '49 over to the'67 Loboy. The backside of those weights were not painted by the previous owner, only the front. Due to time constraints I elected only to prime them for now.

I applied 8 felt stick-ons (the kind that protect hardwood floors) on the weights before installing to prevent marring. Maybe will work, maybe not.

Had no problem using a Farmall Jack (widow maker) to remove and install the heavies.
Just Do It !
