Wow, 6-12 inches of snow over 2 inches of ice is bad news anywhere! Must be pretty slick out there. Be careful . . .

What a bummer  .

We were supposed to get around 6" on snow last nite.

I had "Warrior" (from the Road Warrior) all rigged up to push snow this morning. We woke up to not even a inch of snow   .....well, more like an inch of sleet.

But I heard last nite on the Weather Channel that Potosi (John's home) was getting "slammed" :?:

Hope you get over that Flu, John

Right now, we are having our 4th "mock hurricane" of the season....

Incredible winds....rain...tropical temperatures, and moisture-laden air. I'm having to run the air conditioner to keep the humidity down to a breathable level!!!! (Odd thing, being the 1st of December, and all....)

They tell me this will stop sometime tomorrow, and then get cold....hence, no real snow....good thing, I've not got the blade on the cub yet.

How is it for You, Tony, in Long Island, or you, Carl, in Baltimore??

Namaste,

--Tom

freezing rain, then sleet, then freezing rain. total of about 4 inches, then it froze solid and just a dusting of snow on tip. no plowing that.

I got my seat time in. Enjoyed the ride, but the 6 inches of wet, heavy snow aren't so great. Poor Cub got soaked

Boy was I wrong.Got in about 1 1/4 hour of seat time and still not completely done. About the toughest snow possible, slush underneath then about 6" of wet and now drifting, also packed down by the two of us going and and coming home from work. Had to put Jeep in low and make two tries to get up hill, Cub had no trouble climbing it. 20 degrees now at 8pm. Angle plow worked great, that 1" cylinder has held up fine. More snow than I wanted for 1st test.Hope everyone else out there is safe and back inside. I will play some more tommorow.

Warmest November in a long time here... Same as Tom in PA... hurricane like weather, but still in the 60's!!!?? Not complaining!

The snow plow is in pieces, electro tank, etc.... but one more day left on the Gravely with a snowblower on it on ebay... so in the unlikely event it snows here I have an out. But even in a massive snowstorm that thing is too much for my driveway...... I'll just walk.

Got the blizzaks on the truck an hopefully most of the snow will be plowed when I head out to MI later this week.

The pictures say it all.

This scotch pine is about 40 feet tall, and trimmed high enough to mow under it with the cub (vertical exhaust).
