that pine looks a lot like they do around here. I scraped this afternoon. Drove 45 iles to teach school, got there in 1 1/2 hours, got out to the shop ad the power went out at at 8:30. On power no tools, so kept the kids till 11:00 due to the fact there was a field trip out and they had to get back and traveled back home, this time the return took 1hr 15 mins.

So got home and decide to move snow, thought snow was a little heavy for a cub, and got the Deere out, ( 40 horse compared to 10 hp) snow still gave the Deere a run for its money. Had an inch of sleet, toped with 8 inches of snow atleast. It was some heavy stuff. Still have 4 driveways to move tomorrow morning after the sun comes.

Wow is an understatement. It is the heaviest and wettest snow I've seen ina long time.

We ended up with a light covering of ice, very thin, and a lite dusting of snow :? :( They were saying 5-6 inches and Stainless was already to push snow for maybe the first time ever in her 51 yrs of life. :(

Yes Mike I just got the power on this am. Pretty bad around here with all the ice my rain gage had 5 inches of rain before it froze up and the power went out Thursday at 8pm. Brrrrrrrrr but a coupla propane deer stand heaters and a propane cook stove kept us warm and fed. I did run over to the shop and check on the freshly painted cub and spent a few minutes lookin at it!! I had power over there all along but it is 10 miles away from home and the wife didn't want me to keep it company and not her!!! So I came back home, but I did get a decal put on!! Its so funny how I have been chomping at the bit to get them decals on and in the right places. I normally have the patience of a saint I have been told by my fellow workers and carving club members but This little Cub has had my attention ever since I bought it. Anyway its warmer in the house today. Vince I'm sure you and John got the same as me and Brian up here in the winter wonderland!!!! ...............RustyNuts

I got a reprieve from cold showers, getting up in the middle of the night to load stove, fill generator, etc. Power came back on about 7 pm this evening.

I finished scraping down drives today. It was still a pain because the ice is still under the snow and all I do is slip. Did make some headway though today, Cut the family Christmas down this afternoon. It was a lot of fun driving around in the mud around a huge 160 acre tree farm.

The trees in the back yard are still a little hung over though and the 56 cub hasn't moved in 5 weeks. The honeysuckels are suppost to be 6-8 feet tall.

Wonder if this poor little cedar will straighten on it's own. May need some help, or I may leave it as is for the novelty.
