I was out looking around the net and came across this drawing:

Anybody ever seen a short wheelbase Cub? I would think that it would be very prone to tipping over on any kind of slope.

More likely - it's a picture file that was distorted through re-sizing.

Distorted? Nah, someone spent a lot of time creating the "Stubby Cubby". (Great name tahnks to Corky's Cub)

If it were distorted then I would think the wheels would look different as well. The wheels look fine to my eyes.

I'm going with Eugene, I think I've seen the picture in some book/manual before, Jim Becker might know?

If you look at the properties of the picture, the title is: "normal_cub_line_dwg_prototype.gif"

Looks like the drawing was done without leaving room to mount the TC. Maybe before the TC hit the drawing boards?

I'm thinking that this could have been a design exercise for a smaller turning radius. Perhaps some special application such as an airfield tractor.

The "airfield" cub served double duty as a regular cub.

The photo doesn't look distorted to me. It looks correct just a shorter tractor. There is no place on it to put a TC unit. Would be neat to know if one of these were ever built. I'm with Rudi, I would like to have the link to this photo also.

Does it have a PTO? From my looking at it, it appears to, but as y'all know, I'm no expert.
