Lesson learned today.... it is probably normally OK to put the belt for a flail mower on the passenger side floor of the truck (looks a bit like a big snake and I am allergic to horse serum, so it should have scared me anyway)..... but it is a good idea to throw it in the back when the door handle breaks off in your hand before you trip on it getting out of the truck.... you could get tangled up in it and fall out of the dang truck otherwise.... So now I got a melon growing out of the side of ankle and am whimpering like a small child when I walk. Pretty embarrasing all the way around.

It's raining on the new Lo Boy, but snowing inland. Got lucky and missed the weather.

Yep Donny is most wise, altough I did give him a ring in the summer about said tractor. Sometimes procrastination pays, cause the price went down. I was hoping one of my wiser Cub "elders' would actually encourage the purchase, but he and Cecil persisisted in giving nothing but calm, level-headed advise.

If I recall it is one of the last Lo Boys made (67?) Seems to be a real nice one, kept under cover. The impliments are in real nice shape and for the most part will be sold so I can put the loader on it. I figured now is the time to sell the L-54 (even has the stickers on it) and weights, chains etc to help pay for the Cub. Spring time I will sell off the belly mount Mott and one of the York rakes.

Scotty is not allowed to comment on the lights., except to say I am starting a rectangle headlight Cub Club, they are Bosch and my look good on the truck.

I did take the camera, but no pictures. I was trying to beat the snow, rain, freeezing rain and get to the James Cotton/Jsmes Montgomery gig down the street with my friends (I won a pair of tickets too) but I am stitting with a bag of frozen brussel sprouts on my ankle. But it was a safe and uneventful 600 mile trip.
