Bugler's Dacula Mini Fest

Postby Kodiak » Fri Jan 04, 2008 11:12 pm

This past summer, late summer there was a Mini Cubfest held in Dacula, Ga. at Bugler's place. We managed to get a few things done and a whole lots of talking done :!: I always like to put names and faces together and I ran across this photo as I cleaned up my hard drive tonight and thought I'd post it. Skyhawk was new to the forum then and I think he picked up some helpful info that day. Anyway just thought I'd share some of the memories of "07" :D Look foward to a Great "08".

Got to work on the labeling
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Kodiak,

That was a good day!

With Skyhawk providing the brawn, you providing the brain, and me and Bugler providing the commentary, we had some fun!

Bob, hope you're doing good...I may stop by this afternoon to say hello!

Corky
I found this old Cub, Forgotten and Forlorn,
With pistons and valves frozen and worn.
Help from my buddies on Farmallcub.com,
And an engine from Ralph, (37’s the one),
Now ole Corky is running and back to life,
Much to the surprise of my dear, dear wife!

And I consider it an Honor :D
By the way how's that saw doing?
I've got the wood cut for the frame I just need to get the metal parts in the tank to de-rust them and I'll be on my way to having some cider this fall :!:
